Overview
Heisten Financial is an Anchorage-based financial planning and investment management firm that was founded in 2015. The Heisten team wanted to create a simple, more modern web presence.
The primary goal of the website was to better define the firm's ideal client to increase their qualified leads. They also wanted to share more information about their firm, the benefits of their services, and the financial support they give back to the community.
The Heisten team expressed an interest in a sharp, modern, and sophisticated design that incorporated their local Alaskan landscape. Their financial plans are all about simplifying the complex, and they wanted the actual website to represent this simplicity.

The Process
Step One
The website redesign process began by reviewing an in-depth questionnaire completed by Heisten Financial to generate information about their company and goals for the project.
Step Two
One of our web strategists conducted a discovery call with Heisten's team to discuss more about their visitor's goals and concerns, as well as the company's values and differentiators.
Step Three
Based on the discovery session and some additional competitive research, our web strategist created custom wireframes to represent 5 of the website's key pages. These were then presented to the Heisten team for review and feedback.
The Design
A TinyFrog web designer met with Heisten Financial to review the wireframes and discuss the visual and brand identity they wanted to convey on their website.
In the design phase, custom designs were created with the goal of optimizing the site for user experience and conversion, and to create a compelling and engaging visual experience.
